Start The Gap Loan Application
You are about to start the Gap Loan online application form.
The application should take no more than 10 minutes.
It is in your best interest to provide as accurate information as you can.
This application must be completed in full with all attachments in order for it to be processed.
- Complete all the questions on this form.
- Review the notices and disclosures on the form. You will be able to download these pages for your records.
You will be asked to upload the following documents before you can submit your application. We recommend taking a picture with a smartphone in good light or using a scanner:
- Copy of Social Security Card
- Copy of Driver’s License
- Verification of income:
- Two current paycheck stubs showing current and year-to-date income; AND/OR
- Current documentation of benefits (Social Security, Disability, Child Support, etc)
- Copies of checking account statements for the most recent two months
- Documents from your referring organization – NOTE: At this time we only accept applications from people referred by a referring partner.
- HDA Clients:
- A note from the Housing Counselor concerning the need for the loan
- HCTC Students: a copy of your Student Services pages showing:
- Enrollment status
- Account balance with HCTC
Once we receive a completed application with all required attachments, you should have a decision within two business days.
